2027 Spain Solar Eclipse

 

  • Day 1-2: Arrival in Seville (or Malaga). 
    Arrive and explore the city, allowing time to settle in before heading towards the eclipse viewing area. 
  • Day 3: Travel to the path of totality. 
    Move to a location in southern Spain that offers a clear view, such as Tarifa, Algeciras, or even near Cadiz. 
  • Day 4: Eclipse viewing day. 
    Travel to your pre-booked viewing location for the total solar eclipse. Many tours will likely focus on the "Costa de la Luz" region near Cadiz or the area around Málaga. 
  • Day 5-6: Post-eclipse exploration. 
    After the eclipse, you can explore more of the region, with options including exploring the historic city of Cadiz or visiting Gibraltar. 
  • Day 7: Departure. 
    Depart from a major airport like Seville, Málaga, or even consider flying out of Tangier, Morocco, after a short trip across the Strait of Gibraltar. 

  • Day 1: Arrive in the southern region of Spain 
  • Day 2: Explore the city of Cadiz, located directly in the path of totality 
  • Day 3: Travel to Tarifa, Spain, to experience the extended viewing duration of over 4.5 minutes 
  • Day 4: Travel to Málaga, another major city in the path of totality 
  • Day 5: Travel to Gibraltar for an international viewing experience 
  • Day 6: Journey to Tangier, Morocco, for an international viewing experience 
  • Day 7: Return journey to begin your travels home
